Legend Z’s dam Razzia is a maternal sister to Acadia Z (dam of Liviano Z, entry no. 7).
Different as Acadia Z Razzia is by the Ramiro Z son Rasso and supplies so to Livia the famous Ramiro-Landgraf connection. Razzia’s sire Rasso was for years the absolute flagship stallion of the Bavarian Studbook and produced a high number of Grand Prix horses and even Olympic competitors.
Still very well remembered in North America George Morris’ Rio, winning for example the Du Maurier in Calgary.
Razzia’ s dam Livia is one of the most intriguing mares in breeding. Her sire Landgraf I does not need any explanation. Livia’s dam Esplanade is the combination of the - for insiders - most respected jumper blood of Colt with Adrette (the dam of the famous stallion Ronald). Adrette is a daughter of Dorette, the dam of Roman and Farn (sire of Nimmerdor).
